SANDBAGS

What battlefield is complete without sandbags?

If you're looking to make some sandbags of your own from putty, click on over to this article written and submited by Ronny Noben. However, if you'd like to order your own that's possible too. You can click on over to Toy Soldiers Depot and use the search function to look through what they have to offer. If you're looking to pick something up locally, contact WHATEVER! in the DuBois Mall to order some of the rather cool Pegasus sandbag sets they have to offer. If you are closer to Gatehouse Games, then contact them to get in that order before Christmas.

TOUR 4: CALL TO ARMS

We have just received word that while leading an assault by Cygnar’s 16th Heavy Infantry Battalion into the heart of Sul, Lord Commander Coleman Stryker was killed in action when a Menite temple collapsed and crushed him beneath. The highly decorated warcaster was pursuing the Protectorate’s Priestess and Protector of the Flame, whom Stryker had engaged in several previous battles, when the tragedy occurred.

2008 SUMMER RAMPAGE TERRAIN

The 2008 Summer Rampage uses a variety of different map layouts to represent the different regions of Western Immoren. Below is a list of the terrain features used by these maps. All of these terrain pieces are re-used from the 2008 C2A leagues except 3" x 9" Deep Snow Drifts and 4" x 8" Frozen Water Pools. Remember, the maps are not precision, there is no way for Privateer to know what terrain is available in every store/club so if you don't have a specific piece, improvise!

PORT VLADOVAR RECONSTRUCTED

A thorough inspection by Bolshik Marshal Ustinov and a cabinet proxy for Posadnik Smyvalov, who was unable to attend the extensive two-day tour, at last finalized the reconstruction of Port Vladovar. In the wake of last autumn's horrific Cryxian attack, the city's defenses have not only been restored, but "have surpassed their previous offensive and defensive capabilities", said Ustinov at a ceremony following his inspection.

BROKEN COAST RAIDS TERRAIN

Barrier Wall: A Barrier Wall is a 1” x 6” obstruction that is a minimum of 2” tall.
---
Beach: AOE attacks with a POW 14 or greater that do not hit their target directly leave a 3” diameter crater centered on the point of impact if the center point is on beach terrain. Treat these craters as shallow water.
---

Broken Coast Ship: A Broken Coast Ship is a 14” x 36” man-made construction that features many elements (See diagram). In some scenarios, Broken Coast ships will be structures.
---
Forecastle/Aftcastle: The forecastle and aftcastle are obstacles that provide elevation.
--
Masts: The masts are obstructions. In some scenarios, the masts will be structures.
--
Ship's Crane: The center mast serves as the ship’s crane. A warrior model with a melee weapon in base-contact with the crane can take a special action to pick up any friendly model that is completely within 8” of the crane and place them anywhere completely within 8” of the crane. Models picked up by the crane are subject to free strikes from models engaging them at the time they are picked up. Models picked up by the crane must sacrifice their movement if they have not already activated this turn.
---

Paddlewheels: The paddlewheels are obstructions. In some scenarios, the paddlewheels will be structures.

---
Ship’s Rail: The ship’s rail is a linear obstacle surrounding the outside edge of the entire ship.
Crane: A warrior model with a melee weapon in base-contact with the crane can take a special action to pick up any friendly model that is completely within 8” of the crane and place them anywhere completely within 8” of the crane. Models picked up by the crane are subject to free strikes from models engaging them at the time they are picked up. Models picked up by the crane must sacrifice their movement if they have not already activated this turn

---

Crate Stack: A crate stack is a 2” x 4” obstacle that provides elevation. A crate stack may be targeted like a structure (ARM 12, Damage Capacity 15). Models standing on a crate stack when it is destroyed are knocked down.

---

Pier: A pier is a man-made construction. In some scenarios, piers will be structures.
