I was given this book as a gift for Christmas. It's from 2000 but contains a lot of good information about converting models as well as painting. If you can find it for a good price, pick it up and have a good read. Be aware that it mainly focuses on large models in the 54mm range but what is discussed obviously can be applied to any size model.
