PAINTING CANNON REDOUBT EARTHWORKS

Yeah, I got distracted again.

I was doing a good job painting miniatures and then got sucked into painting terrain again. The last time Megan and I went home, I visited HobbyTown USA and bought a pack of BMC Civil War Cannon Redoubts. They are nicely detailed in brown plastic and measures 7" by 7" and 2" high. You can get your own at Toy Soldier Depot under the Civil War section.

A redoubt is an enclosed defensive emplacement outside a larger fort, usually relying on earthworks, though others are constructed of stone or brick. It is meant to protect soldiers outside the main line of defense and can be a permanent structure or a hastily-constructed temporary fortification.

I figure these pieces will make nice terrain pieces for games of WARMACHINE and can be placed back to back in order to make trenches.
