MOORE & COMPANY BUILDING

The Moore & Company building was made from the Moore & Company Warehouse Kit from Walthers. I bought it because it came with several parts that could easily be altered and kitbashed. It was selling on Walthers for 50% off, so I grabbed it for $20 instead of $40.
Although it is supposed to be a HO scale kit and would normally be too tiny for WARMACHINE and HORDES scale, it works okay because the windows are large warehouse windows and the doors are double wide in scale. I wanted the building to represent a Rhulic Warehouse. I modelled most of the windows to look smashed out or sealed with brick or metal sheeting. It's easy to do using sheets of styrene. I prefer to use Evergreen Scale Models styrene sheets.
I used Sidewalk for brick and Corrugated Metal Siding.
The smallest top part of the building is a Thomas the Train Engine toy structure that came with the Thomas & Friends - TrackMaster - Build A Bridge Expansion Pack. It was on sale for $7 at Wal-Mart. It gave me enough terrain pieces for almost an entire board. Amusingly the Trackmaster railroad tracks are wide enough that narrow O Scale engines and cars will fit nicely.
I painted the model using browns and greens in an attempt to make it look old and dark. The building is in two parts. The top section comes off for easy storage. I left enough space on the rooftops to allow for 3-4 small based models. You never know when you might want to put some Long Gunners or Eyriss on a rooftop. Or when Caine might want to Flash or Gatecrash to the top of a nearby building.
