Board Size: 4' x 4'
Terrain Features: 5 Buildings: Three should be large and two small. Use whatever buildings you have on hand and decide ahead of time whether the buildings are intact or damaged. All of the buildings are considered to be structures as per page 79 of Prime Remix. Civilians: Place 1d6 civilians on the board in whatever manner is acceptable to both players. Use the Deviation Template to place them if you wish. The Civilians will be intervening models during the battle. They will run in random directions based on the movement of the players. Each time a model moves directly towards the civilian in question, the civilian will move 1d6 inches away from the models that moved towards it. Yes, the civies will be moving a lot during the game. If this becomes annoying for the players, adjust this in whatever manner you feel is needed. The civie models are meant to get in the way, and can be herded in certain directions. Civilians can be killed by simply declaring a legal attack against them. You don't have to roll to hit, simply decalre a legal attack. They do not have the ability to attack or defend themselves.
Deployment: The deployment zones for Player 1 and Player 2 are marked on the above map. If you choose to change these deployment zones that's fine. The main reason I placed them where I did was to cause the First Player to deploy at an angle to the Second Player. Roll off as usual and the winner of the roll decides who will be the First Player as usual.
Special Rules: You may deploy into or on to buildings within your deployment zone.
Scenario Overview: Your warcaster has been hard at battle. Seeking solace, and possibly supplies, your army has laid its eyes on a small border town that is unoccupied by the enemy. Unknown to your warcaster, an enemy force has decided the exact same course of action. Rolling into town, you find yourself in urban warfare. You accomplish your mission if you have eliminated the enemy warcaster, and taken the small town for your own.
Here are some other scenarios I've posted over the years.
