Hey everyone!
John and I met last night to brainstorm and plan some events out for the rest of the year. There's so much good stuff coming out that we needed to decide what to do and what to give a miss. We're planning out some great stuff to do all the way to the end of the year. Our ultimate goal is to try to bring all the fans of Privateer Press games together into what's really viewed as a "Gaming Community."
Here's just a tiny glimpse of what we have planned:
1. Demos to bring in new people to the game. Also, those players who are still learning the game can come in and try a demo to brush up on their skills. During a demo it is perfectly cool and totally encouraged for regular players to come in and do some gaming in the store. We bring the game, but you bring the bodies. Come on in.
2. Charity Events: With great power comes great responsibility, right? Well, we don't have much power as gamers in the community but we can try to make a small difference. We're planning out some very cool charity events. Also, we're trying to come up with ways that we can allow players to utilize sponsors for these events so the money doesn't have to come from your already drained pockets. More on that later.
3. Tournaments: Yes, tournaments. The chance to come on out, mingled with the Gaming Community, and then kick their asses! We'll be getting some of the new three coin sets for prizes, along with some of the new prizes that Privateer Press have in store for us.4. Unique Prizes: We're working on some cool unique prizes for events and tournaments that you won't be able to win anywhere else and believe me, we have some great ideas.And there's a lot more.
