About two weeks ago, Megan and I travelled to Sewickley, PA for personal reasons. While we were there, we did some sight seeing and wandered around Sewickley. We continued my Game Store Tour, and hit some of the shops in that area. Before we headed over to Legions Hobbies and Games, we stopped at Quaker Steak & Lube on Freedom Road. We filled our bellies on good food, and watched the races on the TV.

Afterwards, we set off to locate Legions. I plugged in the street address to Tom Tom and put the metal to the metal. We got really, really close without any effort, but had to pull over and call for directions. We had driven right past it. If you're going over there, realize there's no sign at the road that you can see. However, if you look for a grayish building with a reddish pink roof set off the side of the road ... you can't miss it.

The store is really nice. It has a great selection of board games, card games, miniature games, and other fun stuff. Megan picked up Chez Geek. I browsed through the WARMACHINE stuff, finally finding Mr. Strangeways. I had been hunting for him since I arrived in the area but none of the stores had him in stock! And there was great weeping and gnashing of teeth when I nabbed the last bottle of Armor Wash ... got to love Armor Wash.

The visit was awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I talked with Ryan for quite some time about Privateer Press and the game in general. He expressed a desire to have some Mangled Metal type events run at the store. Basically, he wanted something that was not InfantryMachine for an event, and I gave him a few ideas. I got his email address and used it to send him some ideas for WARMACHINE events. I highly recommend visiting Legions. They have great staff, a super selection of gaming stuff, and plenty of space for gaming.
