Greetings gamers, friends & family...
There have, in the past week or so, been some days when I was not "in the office" so to speak, or later than usual to opening. First, let me apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I know the price of gas is highway robbery these days (pun not quite intended) and that I myself can't afford to be running back and forth on fools errands only to find my destination closed. Sorry for any trouble in that respect!
As some of you may have heard, my mother, Carolyn, has been extremely ill for the past few weeks. She has a fairly advanced level of cancer and has been receiving treatment. As you can imagine, I've been running back and forth like crazy to visit with her. Any of my friends and aquaintences who have met my mother know how awesome she is, and to have her struck by this is just a huge blow to us all. My mother and I really have appreciated the calls and the flowers and the cards from you. It helps her to know that you all care for her and, as you know, recovery is largely psychological when it comes to cancer. She has a ton of chemotherapy ahead of her and she'll need all the support you can give to get through that. We're not out of the woods yet, as they say, so please feel free to drop her a get well card if you like.
Thank you for your patience in this, with a little luck she'll be a pain in my butt for years...
