TERRAIN FEATURES FOR "GO WILD"

TERRAIN ... LOVE IT OR HATE IT
Most Recent Update 3/19/08

The current plan for the "Go Wild" HORDES Coin Challenge Tournament is to have 10 tables set up with 4x4 mats to represent the battlefields on each table.
  • Hills - Provide elevation.
  • Rock Walls - Less than 1" thick. Provides cover.
  • Clusters of Trees - Provides concealment. Won't block LOS because it's not a template.
  • Tree Stumps - Provides cover
  • Blast Crater - A blast crater is rough terrain that provides cover to models within 1" of its edge.
  • Mud Bog - Reduces model's Movement by 1 (-1) while in template.
  • Marsh - A marsh is shallow water. Models within a marsh do not benefit from Pathfinder.
  • Road - A road is a man-made construction.
  • Cobblestone Pavement - Cobblestone pavement is a man-made construction
  • Corn Field - Corn fields are rough terrain for small- and medium-based warrior models. Small-based models gain concealment when completely within a wheat field.
  • Plateau - A plateau is an obstruction that blocks the LOS of all models.
  • Water Channel - Shallow Water, functions like a river but man-made.
  • Debris - Template is considered rough terrain
  • Large Pond - Deep Water
  • Ruins - Rough Terrain that provides cover while completely in the template.
  • Druid Cairn - Blocks LOS
  • Standing Stones - Provides cover.
